CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIE Apple a dévoilé aujourd’hui l’iPhone 15 Pro et l’iPhone 15 Pro Max, ses modèles Pro les plus légers jamais conçus grâce à leur design robuste et léger en titane de qualité aérospatiale. Ils sont également dotés de bords profilés et d’un bouton Action qui permet aux utilisateurs de personnaliser leur expérience de l'iPhone. Les appareils photo améliorés intègrent l’équivalent de sept objectifs professionnels pour une qualité d’image exceptionnelle, avec un appareil photo principal avancé de 48 Mpx et une très haute résolution par défaut de 24 Mpx, des portraits nouvelle génération avec mise au point et Contrôle de la profondeur, un mode Nuit plus performant et le Smart HDR. Et un tout nouveau téléobjectif 5x est exclusivement disponible sur l’iPhone 15 Pro Max. La puce A17 Pro offre des expériences de jeu d'un niveau supérieur ainsi que des performances professionnelles. Le nouveau connecteur USB-C affiche une vitesse de transfert USB 3 jusqu’à 20x plus rapide que l’USB 2 qui, associé aux nouveaux formats vidéo professionnels, permet de mettre en place des flux de production auparavant inenvisageables1.

L’iPhone 15 Pro et l’iPhone 15 Pro Max seront proposés dans quatre superbes nouvelles finitions : titane noir, titane blanc, titane bleu et titane naturel. Les précommandes débuteront le vendredi 15 septembre, pour une disponibilité à partir du vendredi 22 septembre.

Un superbe design à la fois léger et durable

Dotés d’écrans de 6,1 pouces et de 6,7 pouces, les iPhone 15 Pro et iPhone 15 Pro Max arborent un design en titane solide et léger, une première pour l’iPhone. Cet alliage de haute qualité, identique à celui utilisé pour les engins spatiaux, est l’un des métaux affichant le meilleur rapport robustesse/poids, faisant de ces modèles les plus légers jamais proposés par Apple dans sa gamme Pro. Ils arborent tous deux une nouvelle texture brossée élégante, des bords profilés et le contour le plus fin sur iPhone. Combinant la solidité du titane avec le dos en verre le plus robuste du marché et une face avant Ceramic Shield à la pointe de la technologie, la gamme Pro est conçue pour durer. Fabriquées à l’aide d’un procédé thermomécanique pionnier dans l’industrie, les bandes de titane recouvrent une sous-structure inédite en aluminium 100 % recyclé. Ces deux métaux extrêmement résistants sont ensuite assemblés grâce au procédé de soudage par diffusion. Le cadre en aluminium favorise la dissipation thermique et permet de remplacer facilement le dos en verre de l’appareil. Ce nouveau design met en valeur l’écran Super Retina XDR équipé des technologies Écran toujours activé et ProMotion, pour une qualité visuelle exceptionnelle.




Le tout nouveau bouton Action remplace le bouton à usage unique permettant d’activer ou de désactiver le mode Silence et propose des choix supplémentaires pour configurer un accès rapide à l’appareil photo ou à la lampe torche, activer le Dictaphone, les modes de concentration, l’app Traduire ou des fonctionnalités d’accessibilité comme Loupe, ou encore utiliser Raccourcis pour accéder à plus d’options. Un appui prolongé avec un retour haptique précis et des signaux visuels dans Dynamic Island garantissent que le nouveau bouton lance l’action demandée.

 


 

A17 Pro : une nouvelle génération de puce Apple pour iPhone

Offrant des performances et des capacités professionnelles, l’iPhone 15 Pro et l’iPhone 15 Pro Max sont boostés par la puce A17 Pro, la première puce 3 nanomètres de l’industrie. Apple conserve sa place de leader dans le secteur des puces pour smartphone avec l’A17 Pro, qui apporte des améliorations à tous les niveaux, notamment grâce à la refonte de GPU la plus notable de l’histoire d'Apple. Le nouveau CPU intègre des améliorations de micro-architecture et de design qui le rendent 10 % plus rapide, ainsi qu’un Neural Engine jusqu’à 2x plus rapide faisant tourner des fonctionnalités comme la correction automatique et Voix personnelle dans iOS 17. Tirant parti de la technologie ray tracing désormais basée sur l’accélération matérielle, 4x plus rapide que son équivalent logiciel, l’iPhone 15 Pro affiche des graphismes plus fluides et propose des applications en réalité augmentée et des expériences de jeu plus immersives. Grâce à leur intégration parfaite entre matériel et logiciel, les appareils photo avancés de l’iPhone 15 Pro et de l’iPhone 15 Pro Max intègrent l’équivalent de sept objectifs professionnels, tous boostés par la puce A17 Pro. Avec la puissance du traitement photo informatique, l’appareil photo principal de 48 Mpx spécialement conçu pour la gamme Pro donne plus de possibilités aux utilisateurs, notamment une nouvelle très haute résolution de 24 Mpx par défaut offrant une qualité d’image exceptionnelle dans une taille de fichier pratique pour le stockage et le partage. L’appareil photo principal permet de choisir parmi trois longueurs focales répandues (24 mm, 28 mm et 35 mm) et aussi d’en configurer une par défaut. En plus du format ProRAW à 48 Mpx, l’appareil photo principal prend désormais en charge les images HEIF à 48 Mpx avec une résolution 4x supérieure. L’iPhone 15 Pro est doté d’un téléobjectif 3x remarquable et l’iPhone 15 Pro Max propose la plus grande amplitude de zoom optique jamais proposée sur iPhone : 5x à 120 mm. Idéal pour les gros plans, la photo animalière et les scènes d’action éloignées, le nouveau téléobjectif de l’iPhone 15 Pro Max est doté d’un design à tétraprisme innovant avec un module 3D combinant stabilisation optique de l’image et mise au point automatique par déplacement du capteur, soit le système de stabilisation Apple le plus avancé à ce jour.

 


Les portraits nouvelle génération réalisés avec l’iPhone 15 Pro et l’iPhone 15 Pro Max affichent des détails plus nets, des couleurs plus éclatantes et de meilleures performances en condition de faible luminosité. Et, pour la première fois, les utilisateurs vont pouvoir réaliser des portraits sans basculer sur le mode Portrait. Lorsqu’une personne, un chien ou un chat est dans le cadre, ou lorsque l’utilisateur touche l’écran pour faire la mise au point, l’iPhone capture automatiquement les informations relatives à la profondeur, permettant de transformer plus tard ces photos en portraits spectaculaires dans l’app Photos de l’iPhone, de l’iPad ou du Mac. Et pour plus de maîtrise créative, il est aussi possible d’ajuster la zone de mise au point une fois la photo prise.

 

Tous les appareils photo de l’iPhone 15 Pro et de l’iPhone 15 Pro Max intègrent des fonctionnalités supplémentaires :

  • S’appuyant désormais sur le Photonic Engine, le mode Nuit s’améliore encore, offrant des détails plus nets et des couleurs plus éclatantes, notamment pour les portraits en mode Nuit grâce au scanner LiDAR.
  • Le nouveau Smart HDR capture les sujets et les arrière-plans avec un meilleur rendu de la couleur de la peau, tout en garantissant des tons clairs plus lumineux, des tons moyens plus riches et des ombres plus intenses lorsque les photos sont affichées dans l’app Photos. Le rendu HDR avancé est également disponible dans les apps tierces, pour rendre vos images encore plus belles lorsqu’elles sont partagées en ligne.
  • Faisant déjà figure de référence, la qualité vidéo de l’iPhone est optimisée grâce à la puce A17 Pro qui améliore la qualité des vidéos prises en conditions de faible luminosité et avec le mode Action.

Le smartphone préféré des créatifs et des réalisateurs s’améliore encore avec de nouveaux flux de production professionnels. Les utilisateurs peuvent maintenant bénéficier de vitesses de transfert jusqu’à 20x plus rapides avec un câble USB 3 en option. L’iPhone et les solutions tierces comme Capture One permettent également aux photographes de créer un studio professionnel, pour capturer et transférer automatiquement des images ProRAW à 48 Mpx de l’iPhone vers le Mac. Les vidéos ProRes peuvent directement être enregistrées sur un périphérique de stockage externe, ce qui offre des options d’enregistrement de plus haute qualité — jusqu’à 4K à 60 fps — et plus de possibilités en tournage lorsque l’iPhone est utilisé comme caméra principale. L’iPhone 15 Pro inaugure également une nouvelle option pour l’encodage Log et est le premier smartphone au monde à prendre en charge l’ACES (Academy Color Encoding System), un nouveau standard de gestion de la couleur.

 

Plus tard cette année, l’iPhone 15 Pro apportera une nouvelle dimension à la capture vidéo, avec la possibilité d’enregistrer de la Vidéo spatiale pour l’Apple Vision Pro. Les deux modèles sont dotés d’un connecteur USB-C, la norme universelle pour la charge et le transfert de contenu, ce qui permet d’utiliser le même câble pour charger l’iPhone, le Mac, l’iPad et les nouveaux AirPods Pro (2ᵉ génération). Les utilisateurs peuvent également charger leurs AirPods ou leur Apple Watch directement depuis leur iPhone grâce au connecteur USB-C. L’iPhone 15 Pro et l’iPhone 15 Pro Max prennent en charge l’USB 3, qui offre des vitesses de transfert pouvant atteindre 10 Gbit/s, soit jusqu’à 20x plus vite qu’auparavant.

 


 

Les deux modèles intègrent une puce Ultra Wideband 2ᵉ génération, leur permettant de se connecter à un autre iPhone équipé de cette puce dans une zone de portée trois fois plus étendue qu’auparavant. Cela ouvre de nouvelles possibilités pour l’utilisation de la fonctionnalité Localisation précise dans Localiser mes amis, l’iPhone 15 permettant aux utilisateurs de partager leur position avec leurs proches pour se retrouver plus facilement, même au milieu d’une foule. La fonctionnalité Localisation précise intègre les mêmes mesures de protection de la vie privée que Localiser, qui a déjà gagné la confiance des utilisateurs5.

L’iPhone 15 Pro et l’iPhone 15 Pro Max prennent désormais en charge la connectivité Wi-Fi 6E, qui offre de meilleures performances sans fil avec notamment un débit 2x plus rapide, et inaugurent le premier smartphone compatible avec Thread, qui ouvre la voie à de futures possibilités d’intégration pour l’app Maison.

L’iPhone 15 Pro et l’iPhone 15 Pro Max intègrent nativement la connectivité 5G ultra-rapide6 et proposent :

  • La prise en charge de MagSafe et de la future fonctionnalité de recharge sans fil Qi2.
  • L'amélioration de la qualité sonore des appels téléphoniques, y compris ceux passés via FaceTime ou des apps tierces. La qualité sonore peut encore être améliorée en activant le mode Isolement de la voix, grâce auquel les conversations restent parfaitement compréhensibles même dans un environnement bruyant.
  • La prise en charge de l'eSIM auprès de plus de 295 opérateurs. Partout dans le monde, les utilisateurs peuvent rester en contact avec leurs proches en souscrivant un forfait avec itinérance internationale abordable auprès de leur opérateur actuel, ou en achetant un forfait eSIM prépayé dans plus de 50 pays et régions, dont l’Australie, l’Italie, ou encore la Thaïlande.

Des fonctionnalités de sécurité étendues pour avoir l’esprit tranquille

La gamme iPhone 15 inclut des fonctions de sécurité essentielles pour contacter les secours en cas de problème majeur, notamment Détection des accidents7 et SOS d’urgence par satellite8Actuellement disponible dans 14 pays et régions sur trois continents, SOS d’urgence par satellite a contribué à protéger la vie de nombreux utilisateurs. Intégration d’iOS 17

L’iPhone 15 Pro et l’iPhone 15 Pro Max intègrent iOS 179, qui rend l’iPhone encore plus personnel et intuitif grâce à de nouvelles fonctionnalités :

  • L’app Téléphone intègre des mises à jour majeures, notamment Affiches de contact qui permet aux utilisateurs de personnaliser leur apparence auprès de leurs contacts et Messagerie en direct, qui tire parti de la puissance de la puce A17 Pro pour afficher la transcription en temps réel sur l’appareil pendant l’enregistrement d’un message vocal. Il est même possible de prendre l’appel pendant que l’appelant est en train de laisser un message.
  • L’app Messages offre de nouvelles possibilités avec les autocollants, une fonction de recherche plus puissante, la transcription des messages audio, et Accompagnement, qui permet aux utilisateurs de signaler automatiquement à leurs proches qu’ils sont bien arrivés à destination.
  • NameDrop propose une nouvelle manière d’utiliser AirDrop pour partager plus facilement des coordonnées en rapprochant deux iPhone. Ce même geste peut être utilisé pour partager des contenus via AirDrop et plus encore. Dans le cadre de son objectif de rendre chaque produit neutre en carbone d’ici 2030, de la conception à la fabrication en passant par l’utilisation par les clients, Apple donne la priorité à l’électricité propre sur l’ensemble de sa chaîne logistique et conçoit des produits à partir de matériaux recyclés et à faible empreinte carbone. L’iPhone 15 Pro et l’iPhone 15 Pro Max contiennent maintenant davantage de matériaux recyclés, notamment une sous-structure en aluminium 100 % recyclé et une batterie contenant du cobalt 100 % recyclé, deux premières pour Apple. L’iPhone 15 Pro et l’iPhone 15 Pro Max intègrent également des éléments de terres rares 100 % recyclés dans tous leurs aimants et de l’or 100 % recyclé dans leur connecteur USB-C, ainsi que dans le placage en or et les soudures en étain de plusieurs circuits imprimés. Les deux modèles respectent les normes strictes d’Apple en matière d’efficacité énergétique et sont exempts de mercure, de PVC et de béryllium. L’emballage est constitué à plus de 99 % de fibres, ce qui rapproche Apple de son objectif de supprimer entièrement le plastique de ses emballages d’ici à 2025.

Afin de réduire encore davantage son impact sur la planète, Apple n'utilisera plus de cuir dans aucun de ses nouveaux produits, y compris les accessoires pour iPhone. Apple propose une nouvelle coque à Tissage fin avec MagSafe et un porte-carte à Tissage fin avec MagSafe, tous deux fabriqués en tissu micro-sergé durable et élégant au toucher daim. Ce matériau est fabriqué à partir de sources post-consommation recyclées à 68 % et possède une empreinte carbone considérablement plus faible que le cuir.
